Twitter Login

This Twitter login button will easily enable your visitors from this popular social platform to register with your website.

After the user allows your created Twitter app they are prompted to enter their email address (Twitter does not provide the email address for a user). After this registration is complete and they can log in with just one click on your website.

Note that to be able to download this free mod you need to be either an existing customer (you need to have purcahsed a plugin before) or you must be a Verified PHP Sugar forum member.

- Copy the mod_twitter_login.class.php file to your /plugins/ directory in the root of your website.
- Copy the twconnect.php file to your website root.
- [1.6.x] Copy the images in /templates/default/images/ to the images directory of your template
- [1.7+] Copy the images in /templates/default/img/ to the images directory of your template
- Copy /include/OAuth.php and /include/twitteroath.php to the /include/ directory of your template
- Go in your PHP Melody admin panel to the "Plugins" tab and click on the install button next to mod_twitter_login
- Follow the installer instructions on entering your Twitter App Customer ID and Customer Secret
- After installation the plugin will automatically add a link to the Twitter login in your menu
- You can add manual links by using {$twlink} in your template files.
